The most unusual part of this campground is its location. You are right there, on the banks of the Mississippi. If Tom Sawyer himself, floated down the river on his raft, you'd be able to exchange waves with each other. If you don't see Tom, there are plenty of tugs pushing barges around to keep you occupied. Beale Street, in downtown Memphis, is 10-15 minutes away, and Elvis' house is about 10 minutes further. All in all, nicely located to see the sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. The laundry, is clean and, believe it or not, free. Why? The manager said that they don't want to beat up their campers with extra charges. Okay by me. Wi-Fi is free, but low in strength. We used our Verizon Air Card and it worked very well. A nice campground for an overnight or a few days.

Price is on National Park Senior Pass - Driving here you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and there couldn't possibly be a campground down this residential road. The signs say that there is, and sure enough, 7 Points Campground finally appears. The CG is a Corps of Engineers campground, and as usual, is very nice. The staff is very friendly... both shifts! (they work 4 days on and 4 days off) Those folks really work hard at making your stay enjoyable. The sites near the lake (#'s 21-41,odd-are on the water, even #'s are across the road from the water, remainder of the sites are on the loop road but with no real water views). Some sites are 50/30/20amp and others are 20/30 amp with water and there is a dump station on the entry road. 7 Points is a nice campground and located 15 or 20 minutes from Opry Land and many other major stores including Camping World, food stores, etc.

Although the only hook up available is electricity, this park is an amazing find. There are water spigots located throughout the park so water isn't really a problem. The sites are large and all pull through. There are picnic tables and fire rings on every site. Boyd Lake is a small lake that allows watercraft of all types, fishing, and swimming. There are limited shade trees, but this is a comfortable park to stay at. As in all Colorado State Parks, you must have a day use permit for each of your vehicles. Labor Day weekend finds every spot taken by every sort of camper... from tents to class A motorhomes, but because the sites are so large you really don't feel cramped. Satellite and Verizon phone service are no problem. The park is 10 minutes from I-25. Highly recommend the park for a day or a week.

D&W Lake Campground is a small campground, on a small stocked lake, nestled between acres of corn fields. It is conveniently located next to I-57 and very near I-74. The campground is a delightfully quiet stop over with well equipped and level sites. Both pull throughs and back ins are available. All the stores and restaurants you could possibly want are less than 10 minutes away. The University of Illinois is 15 minutes away. Highly recommended for an overnight stop or for a week or more. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park is the example all other states should follow. All of the Colorado State Parks are well done, but Cheyenne Mountain tops them all. The campground is opened late in 2008 so all the buildings and amenities are brand new. To the east all of eastern Colorado is at your feet. To the west Cheyenne Mountain overlooks the campground. It's a bit of an up hill drive to get to the CG but nothing to worry about. The sites are all large and afford almost total privacy. Note that some of the 51 sites have a sloping driveway to enter the site and some bigger rigs may scrape their hitch upon entering. Full electric, sewer and water at every site. Make reservations early because as more and more people get wind of this place it will be very hard to get into.

71- Rustic Wagon is a small RV park located within one of the town street blocks in W. Yellowstone. The sites are gravel (some pull thru) and have full services, but very small. We could not extend our awning. Every site has a picnic table but that's about it for site amenities. On the other hand the RV park is right in town so all the town's shops and restaurants are a short bike or car ride away. When you're in West Yellowstone your purpose is to see the National Park and not spend a lot of time hanging out around your RV. This campground is a good base camp for exploring and less expensive than others in the area. Ernies restaurant (close by) is excellent for breakfast and lunch. Bullwinkles and Gushers are good for dinners.

This RV Park is about a year and a half old and is very well maintained. It has been a pleasure to stay here, using it as a base camp while exploring the Salt Lake area. The park managers are very accommodating and the showers, laundry, and rest rooms are clean. There is a pool, horseshoe pit, basketball net, and a large playscape for the children. Two draw backs are the lack of shade trees and a close proximity to I-15. We definitely recommend staying here.

Cheerful Valley is a nice place to stop when going across New York. The access road leaves a little bit to be desired (ruts, holes, etc.), but the campground is clean, and the sites are mostly grass and level.

Fifty Point is a jewel hidden in Ontario's wine country. The campground is part of a 350 boat marina and campground situated on Lake Ontario. The sites are shaded, grassy, and level. There are bikeable roads, short hiking trails, an on site restaurant at the marina, a beach, and close proximity to grocery and hardware stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this as an alternative to the campgrounds around Niagara Falls. It's about a 30 minutes drive to St. Catherines and a little longer to the falls.

Seaport CG was recently taken over by Morgan Resorts and has a new manager on site. Even though this was only the second week of operation there were a number of "downside" points that should be mentioned. The entire campground needs some TLC. The property needs to be raked and cleaned up. The access road is potholed and badly in need of repair. Picnic tables look like they were left uncovered all winter and many look like they are about to fall apart. In fact, two did. Wood framing broke and campers were dumped on the ground. Morgan needs to pour some $$$ into Seaport to make the $38 (off season) rate justified. WiFi only exists very close to the main office. On the plus side... Sites were mostly level, restrooms and showers were clean. Cable TV was more than adequate. Campground roads were newly graded and the Mardi Gras festival put on by the new manager was unexpected and a very nice touch. All campers were treated to a free dinner of hot dogs, hamburgers, and Cajun potatoes, rice, and desserts.

If you have any reason to travel through southern Vermont, B'Boro North KOA is a great little campground to stop at. The CG, showers, and bathrooms are all super clean. CG roads and sites are gravel and level and easily navigated with a big rig. There are full service sites if you need them or just water and electric with a dump station available when you leave. There are no bad sites. The towns of Brattleboro and Putney are within a 10 minute drive and have all the charm of the New England small town. CG owners are wonderful folks and bend over backward to be helpful. You won't regret spending a night or week here.

Hortons Camping Resort could be a top rated destination because of its location. Nearby beaches, Provincetown, miniature golfs, drive in movie, restaurants, national seashore, and much, much, more are all in its favor. However... The campground (it is most definitely NOT a camping resort) needs updating in both its facilities and management. The fees are extraordinarily high for the amenities it offers. Adult guests are $12 per day and that must be for the privilege of breathing Cape Cod air because there is nothing to offer folks at the CG. Extra charges abound for air conditioning, more than two kids, and almost anything else. The sites are adequate in size but are are not cleaned regularly. Ours had much trash from previous campers. The grass was sparse but sand and gravel was plentiful. Restrooms and showers (2 stalls) are antiquated. The owner is a gruff old guy who is more concerned that you have your yellow sticker in the right place on your windshield than he is to be polite and helpful. He does nothing to make anyone want to return - which we won't!

An excellent stopover on the way to Florida. Easy to find off of I-95. Good access roads and friendly staff. The campground was clean in spite of it being mid-February. Plenty of room between sites. The sites are level concrete pads with surrounding grass. There are enough trees around to insure adequate shade during the summer. Good Wi-Fi at our site mid-park. A really nice place to visit. We would have liked to spend more time here if we had the time available. It's KOA parks like this that will improve the KOA name.

This park is an Outdoor Resorts Park for Motor Coaches only. The access is easy, the park roads are a little narrow but are being repaved. The sites are privately owned so while here, you are using someone's site. There is a $4/day charge for electricity and another $1/day for the facilities added to the basic site fee. This is a very nice park and convenient to the entire island's activities.

Savannah Oaks was a last minute stopover for us on the way to Florida. Our first impression of the park was that it needed a Spring clean up. The staff was friendly and helpful, the other campers were friendly and outgoing. We'd stop again if we were in the area and needed a place to to stay. You are within 20 minutes of the historic riverfront area of Savannah so all of the city's sites are close by. There is a shuttle service from the campground available. Longhorn Steak House at exit 102 off of I-95 is a definite eating stop if you are in the area.

This KOA is a nice alternative to the closer to Disney, but much more expensive, other parks. Disney attractions are about 25 minutes away. There are nearby grocery and drug stores. Good access and campground roads. The staff and other campers were very friendly and helpful. As other reviewers have said, some of the sites are close together, but there are others that do give you plenty of room, especially if you're on one of the ends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will come back again.

Pinewood Lodge is a rustic campground, close to all of the Plymouth attractions (The Rock, The Plantation, The Harbor, Restaurants, etc.) The registration lodge is located on the other side of the park from the entrance. The road is punctuated with speed bumps. After registering, you have a rather tight turn around to go back down the road to get to your camp site. Families will love it here because there is much to do for all. Swimming in the lake, fishing off special piers, canoeing, boating, and kayaking, are all waiting for you. There were children of all ages riding their bikes on the forested roads throughout the park. Most of the staff seemed pleasant and more than willing to help out and answer questions. On the down side... There were numerous seasonal sites, a few were well kept, but many were in need of someone telling the residents to get their act together and pick up trash, old decking, and other assorted pieces of junk just left lying around. In general, the park looked like it could use a good cleaning. There were far too many cigarette butts, bottle caps and pull tabs lying around. Although we were not bothered by mosquitoes, it did seem like they could be a problem if there happened to be a prolonged wet period. There are only two dump stations that we could see. Both of them are difficult to get to. One was back up the entrance road at the registration lodge, and the other was across from a playground up a small side road. We'd probably camp here again if we couldn't find something else in the area.

We've been here multiple times. It's clean, friendly, near almost everything, and a place that makes you want to just keep coming back, and back, and back. Tall pine trees, fire rings, paved roads, gravel sites, nice folks all around.

This campground is one of the very few 10's we've been to. Manicured lawns, paved roads and aprons, super clean bathrooms and showers, beautiful pool, rec hall, and store. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and willing to help you out whenever they can. Easy on and off the thruway with plenty of gas/diesel available. Wallyworld super store about 10 minutes away.

Not a campground for everyone but if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, friendly, but not well known campground, this one is for you. There is no swimming pool but there is a man made, spring fed pond that's available for swimming and canoeing. Whether you're in a tent, 5er, or Class A, you'll find this campground a comfortable stopover for a night or a month. At about 2,200 feet you will have a bit of a climb up Vermont Route 7 whether you come from Brattleboro or Bennington, so be prepared, but don't pass this one by.

Nice stop on the way from New England to Virginia. Four miles off I-95 and easy access although the residential road into the park is a little narrow. There seems to be a predominance of full season campers here, but everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Our site was shady, and within 10 feet of the water. Shower and restrooms were adequate and mostly clean. We'd go back again.

A nice, quiet, friendly park close to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown and all the other attractions in that area. The Park has some sites with concrete pads, some are also shaded. New electrical service (50/30/20) and cable TV boxes installed this spring. A friendly and welcoming staff keep this a clean and well kept RV park that we'd visit again without any hesitation.
